REVIEW & TEASER - Resisting Her by Kendall Ryan

She trusted him way too much. She needed to go to her room and probably lock the goddamn door, because the way that T-shirt clung to her tits and crept up her side to expose a taunt patch of skin forced his mind to the gutter. He imagined lifting her shirt over her head and nibbling on her soft flesh, exploring her breasts with gentle licks and kisses until she was moaning out his name in that sweet sleep-laced voice.

First, let’s start off by talking about how obsessed I am with Kendall Ryan and her books. I am not ashamed to admit I’ve read every one of them (Unravel Me, Make Me Yours and Hard To Love) more than a few times.

Cole

I’m just like a starving addict when it comes to Kendall’s books, as I countdown the days in until the release day of her next book. But let me tell you, this junkie certainly got her fix with Kendall’s latest release, Resisting Her.

Now, who doesn’t love the fact that the main character in Resisting Her is a sexy FBI agent? If that isn’t the first thing to draw you into this book, then I don’t know what is wrong with you. A well-built gorgeous FBI agent coming in to rescue his damsel in distress should provide plenty of naughty erotic fantasies.

Kendall Ryan has a knack for writing some of the best steamy and hot (baby-making) sex scenes I can’t get enough of, let me tell you. That is probably why I am so addicted to her books. But that doesn’t take away the fact she knows how to write out a beautifully romantic story line as well (that helps intensify those favorite scenes of mine). Even if you take away those hot sex scenes, you still have a heart-melting story to enjoy.

In Resisting Her, we meet our hero, the hot and delicious FBI agent, Cole Fletcher, when his team is raiding a cult’s compound. He isn’t prepared for what happens when he finds a scared Savannah hiding in one of the bedrooms during the raid.

Not being able to get her out of his mind, he locates her at the shelter she’s staying in after the raid and can’t bare the thought of leaving her there by herself. So, against his better judgment he offers to let her live with him for the time being while she decides what she wants to do now that she is free from the cult.

Savannah

Now, the beginning of the book felt a little rushed to me, in regards to the main character’s relationship. I’m talking about how almost instantly Cole was drawn to Savannah and wanted to help her, even though he didn’t know a thing about her. Then only days after the raid he goes looking for her and invites her to live with him.

Now I fell in love with both characters, Cole and Savannah, because it was entertaining the way I felt like both of them were walking on eggshells with one-another. Cole was so worried that anything he did would scare or upset Savannah, while Savannah was scared that anything she did would be wrong and would make him mad.

We have to endure some sweet torture while Cole and Savannah learn to live together while getting to know one-another and try building their relationship. So, I guess that makes up for the somewhat rushed start.

There is also a lot of enjoyment in the sweet torture because we not only get to read and experience Cole and Savannah learning about each-other, but they also learn a lot about themselves while living together.

I will always highly recommend Kendall Ryan’s books to my blog’s viewers, because I know she is simply amazing. If you enjoy reading about people finding each-other when the least expect it and falling in love (with some incredibly hot sex), then you will enjoy Kendall Ryan’s writing as much as I do!
