So, after reading the first book, Control, I HAD to finish Ella and Liam’s story. And what a heartbreaking story at that. It seems like everything was fighting against them. In fact, I think they might have spent more time apart in both books then they did together.

I mean, at what point do you just say it’s not worth the fight? In Control I know Liam asked himself that very questions several times over while he pursued Ella. And let’s address that YES, it was Liam who did the pursuing. Ella ran from him at all costs and the people Liam surrounds himself with just figured she was another charity case to him. So why continue to fight?

In Possess we learn just how far Liam is willing to go to get Ella. In Control Liam faces his issues and realizes his love for Ella is different from all the other women in his past. In Possess Ella has to face her very tragic past she ran from while Liam fights for her.

Liam and Ella’s story is heartbreaking, gut-wrenching and ultimately beautiful. Truly a story about how much you’ll fight for the person you love.
