Good. So let’s talk about Night After Night then. J
So I’m absolutely convinced Lauren wrote Clay Nichols just
to be my book boyfriend. I love me a nice dirty talking, big-hearted alpha and
if that isn’t how to describe my Clay, then I don’t know what is. Clay likes to
take control but also likes to let Julia (think she’s going to) take control
when she wants to as well.
If you’ve read First
Night you got a look into Clay and Julia’s chemistry together. Pretty
freaking hot right? But First Night doesn’t
get into the heart of the story until Night
After Night.
In Night After Night we
get more insight as to why Clay and Julia only have expectations of a short
fling together and why they feel like that’s all they have to offer the other.
Clay is battling trust issues stemmed from his previous relationship while
Julia is battling getting out from under the mess her ex left for her to clean
up.
Lauren never fails to deliver. This series has a lot of hot
steaminess but it’s also a great story. You never know when you’ll meet that
right person (even when you think you aren’t looking) and how do you move past
the hang-ups in your life that are the reason you didn’t want to get involved
in the first place?
Lauren knows how to create characters for us to fall in love
with. More then that she gives them depth that makes us sit on the edge waiting
to see what happens. We can’t put the kindle down because we have to make sure
these characters we love so much are going to get their happily ever after.
At the end of Night
After Night we don’t know if Clay and Julia will get their happily ever
after, but I’m ready to find out in After
This Night!
