As one of the internet’s most prestigious video bloggers, West talks about high school relationships under the name “Sam Green.” As far as he knows, no one from school, not even his best friend, Cat, has seen his videos. But the highlight of the whole thing is Harper Knight, who comments every day at exactly 2:02 in the afternoon. He doesn’t know anything about her aside from the occasional deep philosophical messaging on why pizza tastes so delicious, but as stupid as it sounds, he might be falling for her. So when they finally agree to meet in real life, West’s hope for romance seems more and more in reach. But that all changes as soon as he arrives at their meeting spot and sees Cat walking toward him, wearing the same “I <3 Sam Green” T-shirt Harper promised she'd have on.
To his alarm, West realizes he is falling in love with the best friend who has always been a sister to him.

Romance Addict-Steph: Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by Romance Addict Book Blog today! First off, can you tell us a little bit about yourself?
L.M. Augustine: Hi! I'm the romance author of Click To Subscribe and the upcoming NA, Two Roads. I'm super awkward, am a professional dork, and I have an obsession with all things sweets. Also, I have the TBR the size of... well, they have yet to create something that large.
Romance Addict-Steph: Can you tell us something that not a lot of people know about you?
L.M. Augustine: Hmm. I guess not many people know that I am (secretly) a history nerd.
Romance Addict-Steph: What got you into writing in the first place?
L.M. Augustine: I've always loved to read and used to tell some pretty epic (and plotless) stories as a kid, and so I started writing some short stories when I was younger based off of my favorite books until eventually, I began writing my own novels.
Romance Addict-Steph: When you create your characters do you ever put bits of either your personality or bits of personalities from people close to you?
L.M. Augustine: Definitely! I pull personality from everywhere. I am not usually too much like my characters, but we almost always share the same sense of humor. I love unleashing my brand of weirdness onto the world through characters/minions. Muahaha.
Romance Addict-Steph: What inspired the story behind Click To Subscribe?
L.M. Augustine: Click was actually inspired by... yes... a YouTube video. I was watching an author vlog where the author mentioned that two of his fans (one boy and one girl) met online and hit it off so much that they were organizing a real life meet up, and I thought it was so cool that they were falling in love through YouTube videos. Over time, the idea started to develop in my mind, and I kept thinking about how plausible that could be. I wondered all about what kind of person it would take to fall in love through the internet, what would happen to them, how it would work, and then all of a sudden it was midnight and I was scribbling down the first chapter of what would eventually become Click To Subscribe.
Romance Addict-Steph: Have you ever followed a video blog or been part of one?
L.M. Augustine: I love watching John Green's Vlogbrothers YouTube series. I, however, have never been a part of a vlog and I totally do not plan to. I'd be waaaaaaaaay too awkward for the camera.
Romance Addict-Steph: Can you tell us about some projects you are currently working on?
L.M. Augustine: Yes! I'm currently finishing up revisions on Two Roads, my NA romance releasing on August 26th. The blurb:
The only person poetry-loving Cali Monroe hates more than herself is Logan Waters, the geeky kid who lives in the dorm building next to hers.
Ever since Cali's parents told her she would amount to nothing, she has felt entirely inadequate. Friendless and alone, she takes on the mean girl role in hopes it will make her feel better--and Logan serves as the perfect target. He infuriates her with his obnoxiously long lashes, his all too perfect dimpled smile, and his complete lack of personality outside of his intelligence. So she begins hating him, and he returns the favor. Thus, their prank-filled, insult-driven rivalry is born, and torturing Logan quickly becomes the highlight of her life.
But when Cali's parents set them up on a blind date, she begins to realize Logan might not be as boring as she always thought. He shares her love of poetry, takes a sadistic pleasure in making fun of crepes, and he makes her blush when he calls her smile pretty.
And hey, maybe those long lashes of his aren't that obnoxious after all…
Two Roads is New Adult Romance about finding love, standing out, and learning to embrace who you are. It contains some language and mild sexual content.
Romance Addict-Steph: What are some good books you've read lately?
L.M. Augustine: I absolutely LOVED The Sea of Tranquility and Gone Girl. I read both of them in the last month, and they are already part of my top books of the year.
Romance Addict-Steph: Have any other authors and/or books inspired you in your writing?
L.M. Augustine: Yes! John Green was the one who initially inspired me to start writing seriously, and Colleen Hoover's books were the ones that got me into writing romance.
Romance Addict-Steph: If you could collaborate with another author in writing a book, who would it be?
L.M. Augustine: Either of the above for sure. But don't tell them that. It'll weird them out. (Especially poor Colleen. I've already significantly weirded her out!)
