BLOG TOUR & REVIEW - Addicted To You by Colina Brennan

So a lot of the time I don’t like to read the synopsis for a book before I read it. And then there’s also times when there is a long period time between my reading a synopsis for a book and when I actually get to read the book. Blame it on my ADD or the fact I have 2 toddlers, but I have a terrible short-term memory. At any rate, it’s nice going in to book without any knowledge of what was to come or having any expectations of what I’ll get to find in the book.

I’m so happy this was the case when I went to begin reading Addicted To You by Colina Brennan. I started the book not knowing anything about it or what to expect from the storyline. So when in the first paragraph I learned our heroine, Leah, is sitting in a sex addicts anonymous group I nearly fell off the bed.

I thought our hero, Will, and heroine, Leah, meeting in a sex addicts anonymous group was incredibly original for Colina Brennan to come up with! I was hooked from that point on! I had to know where this story was going after we introduced to an interesting group of individuals attending a sex addicts anonymous group.

Neither Leah or Will feel like they belong mixed in with this weird group of people they have come up with their own nicknames for.  There’s the slut, the creeper, the old lady along with the counselor of course. However, after having sharing a hot and steamy kiss after the second meeting they attend together (without even knowing each other’s names), they both start to wonder if they do indeed belong in this group.

Even after neither Leah nor Will is no longer required to continue attending meetings, they both continue to keep showing up to the group so they can see the other person.

I really enjoyed this book and getting to know Leah and Will. I also enjoyed meeting some of the great secondary characters, Helena and Finn. I sincerely hope Colina Brennan gives them their own books at some point because she really set these characters up for possible sequels with their own disastrous love lives. Helena won’t admit to having feelings for her and Leah’s neighbor, and Finn is desperately in love with his co-star that hates him.

If I were to compare this book to any others, I would say it has the same feel to it as Losing It by Cora Carmack and Damaged by H.M. Ward, just without it being a student-teacher relationship like those two are. It’s based around a college campus (where Leah and Will are both students) and most of the book is very push and pull between the hero and heroine.

Over all, it was a fantastic read and it will get you hooked from the start!
