BLOG TOUR, REVIEW & INTERVIEW - Love Love by Beth Michele

Q: How would you describe yourself as a writer?

Beth Michele: I’m a hopeless romantic and a believer in fairy tales.  I love the words enchanting and whimsical!

Q: Do you have a specific genre or style of writing that appeals to you?

Beth Michele: My passion is writing Young Adult and New Adult Romance.  I LOVE LOVE (LOL), and will always write about it.  It’s what stirs my heart…

Q: How would you describe your typical writing day?

Beth Michele: I get up.  I eat chocolate.  I write.  I listen to music.  Then, I eat more chocolate.  Talk to my characters.  Then I write some more.  Then, of course, I eat more chocolate.

Q: Who are your writing inspirations?

Beth Michele: Colleen Hoover, Jessica Park, and Cheryl McIntyre

Q: What advice would you give to someone starting in a literary field?

Beth Michele: The same advice as Nike gives…JUST DO IT!  Don’t think, don’t question, don’t hesitate.  Just sit down and write.  Write for you and write what’s in your heart!

Q: Where did you grow up?

Beth Michele: I grew up in Connecticut and am still here…many years later!  BUT…I love traveling, seeing different parts of the world and meeting new people!

Q: Other than writing, what are your interests or hobbies?

Beth Michele: Reading is my number one hobby!  Other than that, I love to walk, bike, and I’m a music fanatic!  I love to turn up the music and go crazy!

Q: Tell us something unique about yourself you’d love your readers to know.

Beth Michele: I’m a serious chocoholic and I’ve got a secret candy addiction.

Q: What’s one thing you’ve always wanted to do but never have?

Beth Michele: Skydive.  I’ll probably never do it though because I’m terrified of heights.

Q: Is there a character in your story that you relate to the most?

Beth Michele: I would say Gabby.  I’m not klutzy, but I most certainly am 12 years old in my head, I love The Wizard of Oz and Willy Wonka, and I’m most definitely quirky!!!

I love loved this book. I did. Love Love is Gabby’s journey from a life of love to a life of fear with some more love and fear in between.
Gabby graduates college with the whole world at her feet. Her longtime love, Clark has proposed and she is ready to spend her life being happy with him. When Clark is suddenly and tragically taken from her, she moves across the country to start her life over in New York City.
Three years after Clark’s death, Gabby is still living in NYC but not really living. The monotony of her daily routine is starting to weigh her down but she doesn’t want to feel anymore. She loved Clark and where did that leave her? In a world of pain, that’s where! Enter: Gabby’s best friend, Fran. Fran is the best! Fran is determined to get Gabby to live again and Fran thinks this living should start with Dane Rhodes. He's gorgeous, smart, and sexy as hell. The universe may have other ideas as to Gabby should start living…Enter: Brad Dixon, a sweet, dimpled, super hero who is moonlighting as a coffee shop owner. While I adore Fran, I’m with the universe on this one…Team Brad all the way! Why you say? Who can resist a guy who says things like this:
“I’ve been waiting my whole life for your kiss.”
Or this:
“My intentions are to make Gabby deliriously happy.”
Or this:
“But I want all of you. I want your body and your heart, and I won’t accept anything less.”

Okay, you get the point…Brad is pretty dreamy. Did I mention that he danced with her on the sidewalk outside of Bloomingdales, took her on carriage rides and watched chick flicks? Okay, yes…I must focus here… Love Love is a heart-warming book that I truly love loved! Buy it! Read it! Love Love it!!!

Beth Michele is a wife, a mom, an author, and a lover of all things chocolate, well, anything sweet really.  While stuffing chocolate in her face, she enjoys reading young adult and new adult novels furiously, and spending time with her husband and two adorable children who keep her on her peppermint pink painted toes.  Those same children who inspire her to tell silly stories that cause hysterical giggles to tumble from their bellies.

Beth loves to laugh and loves to have a good cry, especially after reading a novel that stretches her soul, one that makes her feel, and lingers in the corner of her beating heart.

Beth began writing when she was in middle school, penning anything from short stories, to poetry, and then later moved on to write children’s books.  Her debut novel, Love Love is due out May 8, 2013.
